Our Mission
Mission: Work with local high school & college students & community members to support ART, STEM and entrepreneurial projects focused on sustainability. We upcycle plastic waste in to long life objects. These objects raise awareness of global plastic pollution as well as demonstrate alternatives to landfills and help explore sustainable practices to address current environmental issues.
Community: Precious Plastics is a global community that shares open source designs for plastic upcycling machines. Our local contingent is based out of San Carlos California. We are resource for members of our community who are interested in sustainability, third use materials and make a positive environmental impact. We have resources to support, artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, environmentalists and educators. Ultimately we want to take plastic waste and turn it into reusable objects that both encourage discussion around the plastic waste problem and serve as an alternative destination from the landfill.
